Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 and the lockdown, we were not able to run our Easter session BUT we’re going to record some of the music online instead!
Head over now to our Online Orchestra page and follow the yellow brick road….
Welcome to the Richmond Music Academy (formerly known as Kew Music Academy), an exciting holiday music school in West London for young musicians aged from 8 to 18 years old.
Led by our team of experienced music teachers, the Academy inspires young musicians in a fun and friendly environment. From Mozart to Miles Davis, we offer a balanced programme of ensembles and workshops.
Players will enjoy the experience of playing in an orchestra and jazz band while brushing up on essential theory and aural skills. Young musicians will also sing, learn how enhance their performance and experiment with improvisation! Eventually, we will all play together in a concert for friends and family on the Thursday afternoon.
The Academy is open to anyone who has reached Grade 1 level or above. Click here to see our previous courses contents.
This Easter, the course will take place from Sunday 5th to Thursday 9th April from 9am to 4pm at King’s House School, 68 King’s Road, Richmond, TW10 6ES, (click here for map). Please note that we are exceptionally starting on a Sunday due to Good Friday.
Prices start at £225 for the week if you book before Monday 9th March. You can register here.
Later on this year, don’t miss out on our Summer Edition – Monday 27th to Friday 31st July 2020 (Olympic games)!
